Barcode Labels / Plain Labels

Barcodes Plain Labels are required on a Product by Retailers and Warehousing / Logistics Centres. Barcode Plain Labels are created so that each product can be tracked correctly throughout the Distribution Channel for Information about a product including Price, Country, of Manufacture, PLU Code, whether the product is organic and much more. It is therefore vitally important that a Barcode Plain Labels does not fade or smudge and that the Barcode Plain Label itself is correctly affixed to the product with the correct adhesive.

Thermal Transfer Labels

The labels are printed throught a thermal transfer printer where, at the point of the print head, a layer of ribbon is placed on top of the label. The print head elements heat up and cause the ink that is on the ribbon to transfer to the label, crating the required image.

Direct Thermal Labels

Direct Thermal Labels are a cost-effective type of label made with the direct thermal printing process. In this process, a thermal print head is used to selectively heat specific areas of coated, thermo-chromatic (or thermal) paper. It is therefore vitally important that a Barcode Plain Labels does not fade or smudge and that the Barcode Plain Label itself is correctly affixed to the product with the correct adhesive.

Removable Labels

Removable Labels are designed for use as Temporary Labels, which will be removed when they are no longer needed or are out of date. The adhesives used on these Labels are desiged to provide enough adhesive strength to keep the label in place while it is needed and to leave no adhesive residue behide when the Label is removed.
